One-day choirs are popping up all around the globe. The Gaia Music Collective began in Brooklyn during the pandemic to rekindle human connections. It’s grown since, with groups of 100 or more gathering for a day to learn and perform — for themselves — music of Hannah Montana, Wicked, Beyoncé, and many others. “’There’s just something so ineffably spiritual about singing with such a large group of people,’” said one participant. “’I think they call it collective effervescence.’” Full Story >>
